Community Services

The Banks County Sheriff’s Office participates in multiple community service programs.  Two of the on-going and most in-depth programs in which the Sheriff’s Office participates are C.H.A.M.P.S. and the Georgia Sheriffs’ Association’s Youth Homes.  For more information on these two programs you can go to the pages linked above.

In addition to the two programs mentioned above, the Banks County Sheriff’s Office hosts blood drives twice a year; participates in “Supplies for Success”, a program which provides school supplies to children; participates in “Shop with a Hero”, a program which allows local underprivileged school children to spend the day eating and Christmas shopping with local public safety, fire, and military personnel; participates in “Food 2 Kids”, a program which feeds chronically hungry children; and many other programs throughout the year.
