Community Services

The Banks County Sheriff’s Office is deeply involved in several community service programs, each aimed at making a positive impact in our community. Two significant ongoing initiatives include C.H.A.M.P.S. and the Georgia Sheriffs’ Association’s Youth Homes. For more details about these programs, please visit the respective links.

In addition to these key programs, the Sheriff’s Office organizes biannual blood drives and actively participates in “Supplies for Success,” ensuring local students have the necessary school supplies. They also coordinate “Shop with a Hero,” a cherished event where underprivileged school children spend a memorable day shopping for Christmas gifts with local public safety, fire, and military personnel. Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office runs “Food 2 Kids,” a vital program addressing child hunger, and collaborates with the Senior Center. Annually, they also host “Junior Deputy,” fostering community engagement among our youth.

These initiatives underscore the Sheriff’s Office’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all residents of Banks County through diverse and impactful community service endeavors.
